Not at all. Many of our participants have never been around horses before. All experiences are designed to meet you exactly where you are, with safety, choice, and guidance.
No. Forest Reverie Farm does not offer riding. All experiences are ground-based and focus on presence, relationship, and learning through interaction with the horses.
No, Forest Reverie Farm does not provide psychotherapy or clinical treatment. Our programs are equine-facilitated experiential learning and human development experiences.
We do, however, facilitate psychotherapy in form of a partnership with an outside therapist and licensed professional. Please reach out to us for more detail.
Yes. Our work is trauma-informed and supports nervous system regulation, awareness, and resilience. While our experiences can be deeply supportive, they are not a substitute for clinical care when that is needed.
Programs may include guided equine encounters, meditation with horses, somatic healing experiences, group and organizational learning, counseling partnerships, volunteer opportunities, and hands-on farm experiences.
Our programs are open to individuals, groups, organizations, and community partners. This includes adults, teams, educators, recovery programs, and anyone seeking personal growth, connection, or learning through experiential means.
Yes. Safety is a top priority, and all interactions are invitational and guided. Participants are never required to do anything that feels uncomfortable.
We recommend comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and closed-toe shoes. Additional details will be provided before each session or event.

Yes. We offer equine-facilitated learning for groups, organizations, and teams, including leadership development, communication, and team-building experiences.
We have an active and welcoming volunteer community. Opportunities include farm care, event support, and community programs.
